Academic record

Introduction

Recently, the electronic academic record (e-dossier) was introduced for staff evaluations and promotions. This record consists of 4 documents: one editable document and three extracts from Pure, the department of education and the HR system. The general idea is that most of the required information can be extracted from those systems and that researchers can add comments or missing items in the editable file. Please do not abuse this feature: all relevant publications and research-related activities should be in Pure in the first place. This avoids you having to keep and maintain multiple records and thus minimizes the amount of time you need to spend on administration.

Mapping: research output and activities

Only specific categories of research output and activities are extracted. The relation between activities and research output in Pure and the categories of the e-file are as follows:

Mapping: projects

The extraction of projects into the different categories of the academic record is based on the project type, as indicated by the acronym (the first letters of the project identifier, for example OZR... or FWO...). In the extraction, only projects for which you are the administrative promoter are included. Moreover, only projects which have started during the evaluation period are taken into consideration.
