In Pure you have the possiblity of specifying or adding different publication states of your research output. Although this is not mandatory, it can show the chronology of the state of the publishers' progress. Currently, you can choose from the following six options:

Example of publication states
  • In preparation: submitted before peer review reply or in stage of processing the peer review comments to resubmit
  • Submitted: submitted for peer review
  • Accepted/In press: accepted and in stage of final correction and copy-editing
  • E-pub ahead of print: final version where not all reference information is known
  • Published: final version where all reference details are known
  • Unpublished: not yet submitted or after final rejection

Note: Only research output with the publication state 'Published' can be validated during the validation process.
